Save on Medicare, Prescription Drugs, Hearing Aids, and More with the NJSave Application

Senior Save Navigators

State-Funded Assistance Programs

The New Jersey Citizen Action Education Fund has been designated by the New Jersey Department of Human Services as "Senior Save Navigators". We're tasked with raising public awareness about the NJSave application, providing application assistance, and enrolling more eligible residents in cost-saving programs available through NJSave.

Some Seniors May Be Eligible for Even More Programs

The application is also used to screen individuals for numerous savings and assistance programs. If it looks like you may qualify, yourr data will be forwarded for enrollment. These programs include:

Universal Service Fund

A program designed to make energy bills more affordable by capping bills based on annual income.

Low-Income Heating & Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)

LIHEAP helps very low-income residents with their heating and cooling bills and makes provisions for emergency heating system services and emergency fuel assistance.

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

SNAP provides food assistance to low-income families, helping them buy groceries through a benefits card accepted in most food retail stores and some farmers' markets.
